Merle Wood and Burgess have been appointed co-central agents for the sale of Cakewalk. Launched in 2010, Cakewalk is one of the most talked about new deliveries of the last 12 months and is now offered for sale for the first time. Cakewalk is making her debut in the Mediterranean this summer and will be anchored off Monaco for this weekend’s Grand Prix where she will be available for qualified client inspections.

Built at Derecktor Shipyards under the close supervision of a highly experienced and knowledgeable owner’s team to exacting standards, Cakewalk is a spectacular vessel in all respects. Her flowing lines and accentuated curves were created by Tim Heywood Design, giving the yacht fabulous presence on the water and making her instantly recognizable.

Cakewalk’s classically styled interior has been designed by Elizabeth Dalton and manages to retain a feeling of intimacy and warmth in what is a voluminous yacht. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is impressive with rich rosewoods and oaks used throughout many of the guest areas.

A grand sweeping spiral staircase links all four decks in addition to a guest elevator ensuring every need is catered for. The Owner enjoys a private deck comprising full beam Master stateroom, study/lounge, vast his/hers bathrooms with exquisite marbles, gymnasium and day spa. The foyer for the owner’s deck then leads aft into a large saloon complete with bar, relaxing lounge area and cinema/theatre.

All guest accommodation is situated on the main deck, comprising: 4 staterooms with king size beds, 2 staterooms with two double beds and 1 staff/supernumery cabin with twin bunk beds. All guest staterooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, benefitting from large windows providing stunning views and an abundance of natural light.

With 4 external decks to choose from there are numerous options for guests. The sun deck is beautifully furnished with a range of observation chairs, sun loungers and card tables, along with a bar and large whirlpool spa. The additional 3 external decks afford a perfect blend of open or shaded seating and are ideal for relaxing, dining or entertaining on a grand scale.

Cakewalk boats the most impressive array of tenders and watersports equipment (listed below), all stored in a dedicated climate controlled garage which opens with large shell doors to port and starboard.

The technical areas of this yacht have been planned in meticulous detail and executed to the very highest standards, with close input and supervision from the owner’s Chief Engineer and Captain.
