Superyacht Intelligence Agency launches global economic impact study

The Superyacht Intelligence agency has launched a comprehensive study to assess the economic impact of the superyacht arena. Thousands of superyacht industry members are being encouraged to take the online survey, which will provide data for the global study. Areas of analysis will include industrial, financial, employment, manufacturing impact, cruising destination, charter impact and a general superyacht consumption study.

The study was created after debate at superyacht industry event, the American Superyacht Forum, revealed influential authorities and government bodies are still unaware of the size and scope of the emerging and expanding superyacht industry.

The global study – which will show how much financial and socio-economic impact superyachts and the supporting industry has on the world today – is being sent to stakeholders in the market across the world.

Martin H Redmayne, Chairman of the Yacht Report Group, of which Superyacht Intelligence is a division, commented:

“I think it’s vital to generate a more global and regional report that the superyacht industry and its various bodies, associations and companies can use as influence or data to prove our worth and value.”

For the more details on the survey and how to take it go to:

In order to reward time taken, survey participants will be eligible to win one of five Superyacht Event delegate tickets to an event of their choice. To view events go to http://www.superyachtevents.com

The findings of the survey and a full report of it will be published in time for the Monaco Yacht Show.
