Superyacht Status Quo is the latest yacht to come out of Richmond Yachts, not only that, it is also their largest yacht ever built. Their newest launch that hit the waters on Saturday, measures 150 feet.
The trideck design Status Quo has the hull and styling done by Ward Setzer and is built entirely of fiberglass.
The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in the owner’s party and eight crew. The interior design and layout of the superyacht Status Quo is similar to the previous launches, with sapele and pomele woods throughout, from the on-deck master to the captain’s stateroom. The latter, according to the yard could be a VIP cabin instead, located just aft of the wheelhouse. Status Quo also features a waterfall treatment in the dining room, the latter of which is also open to the salon.
Status Quo is currently undergoing the sea trials expected to top out at 18 knots, thanks to her twin 2,000 hp MTUs. Some finishing touches are still to be completed. The yacht is for sale for $30 million.
The photo we have posted is an image of the smaller sister-ship, as there are no photos available of the new 150 feet long Status Quo, as yet.
