For the third consecutive year, the Antibes Yacht Show heralds the opening of the Mediterranean yachting season with this landmark event held in Europe’s largest yacht harbour Port Vauban in France.
The official site is http://www.antibesyachtshow.com
Having already doubled its capacity last year, the 2009 event innovates again with new facilities and services, and additional show space with more in-water spots and exhibition stands representing the French and international yachting industry.
Along over one kilometre of quays, stretching from the foot of the city Ramparts via the Bastion St Jaume and all the way to the legendary Billionaires’ Quay, visitors can admire a selection of the finest yachts on the market, some up to 80m long. A ferry shuttle service makes it even easier to navigate around the historic setting of Port Vauban.
The Antibes Yacht Show attracts exhibitors from all sectors (brokers, equipment and tender suppliers, interior designers, the media and sponsors), and hosts festive events on board the yachts, at exhibition stands and in the prestigious venues around the marina.
With summer just around the corner, plunge into the exciting atmosphere of the yachting world at the Antibes Yacht Show.

Antibes Yacht Show and its exhibitors know how much golf is appreciated in the nautical world. Therefore as in the past two years, every afternoon of the Show, Riviera Yacht Support are planning to drive a few balls in the water (the balls are caught by boat and the distance measured). All donations go to charity. Every day, a bottle of champagne will be given to the man and woman with the longest drive measured. Your chance to be the next record breaker and donate to a good cause! firstname.lastname@example.org
‘The Cap Kayak competition’ is involving teams of 2 people representing a yacht or a company with a one mile course over which to demonstrate their abilities. Every day, the best two kayak teams will qualify for the final event on Sunday. On the last day of Antibes Yacht Show the wining team will be awarded a kayak. http://email@example.com
As in previous years, Antibes Yacht Show is happy for the exhibitors to organize their own seminars. These will be held on the terrace of the Bastion St Jaume, for example
current organisers include Cathelco and Riviera Charts. A more detailed schedule of the seminars will soon be posted here.
