The World Superyacht Awards 2010 has some of the largest and most opulent superyachts as finalists for charter this summer. Yachts like Leo Fun, Arkley, Candyscape II, Norhtern Star, Silver Angel and Cloud 9, which were delivered in 2009, are all available for charter. Over the years, the charter market has observed participation of large yachts over 50m long.
However, the recent introduction is that of Arkley from Lurssen. The yacht has an elegant Espen Oeino-designed exterior with spacious deck areas and a wide range of toys and tender available. The interiors of the yacht are decorated with Mark Berryman designs consisting of fine fabrics and finishes. Leading the charts of the luxury yachts in the world, Arkley is available for charter with Imperial Yachts.
70m Northern Star is the second finalist from Lurssen to be there on the charter market. One of the largest yacht, it is designed by Espen Oeino in order to function in all climates. The interiors of the yacht resemble grand country houses while offering the guests with extraordinary comfort. A very good option for charter holidays in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, Northern Star is available for charter with Moran Yachts.
Leo Fun is another motoryacht, amongst the finalists, manufactured in Proteksan Turquoise. The yacht is built to offer both safety and comfort to its clients. It makes for a first-class charter holiday with large decks featuring a huge lounge area and spa pool, which have separate glass waterfall wall. Available through Charter & Charter, Leo Fun is best suited for transatlantic trips.
