Superyacht Bacarella, a Trinity Yachts project was originally supposed to be completed much before Hurricane Katrina struck the shipyard. However, this 60m superyacht was launched just recently from the Gulfport, Mississippi with dual efforts made by Trinity Yachts and Vripack – the naval architect for Bacarella.

After the shipyard of Trinity Yachts met the ill-fated hurricane, the builders suffered huge loss in terms of time and money. They resumed working on the project only after rebuilding the shipyard from scratch. Bannenberg & Rowell and Trinity Yachts were at the helm of designing the exteriors for this yacht. In fact, Bannenberg & Rowell also made contributions towards designing the interiors.

Super yacht Bacarella has an LOA of 196’/60.0m and LWL of 177’/54.0m. Built with a beam of 35.5′/10.82 m, it has a draught measuring 11.5′/3.5m. It can conveniently hold 6,363 USG/24,087 liters of water and fuel up to 52,632 USG/199,234 liters.

Bacarella offers of a host of facilities starting from a helicopter platform to the elegant saloon. The main saloon of the yacht is designed using elm wood, bronze and neutral fabrics, and limestone accents which help in developing a classy and contemporary profile. Approximately 12 guests can be accommodated in the enclosed area formed by the dining saloon which is surrounded by an attractive glass perimeter.

Another incredible feature of Super yacht Bacarella is its extensive sky lounge where the guests can enjoy the facilities of large television, ultra-modern sound system, the satellite receivers, and the large windows which offer panoramic sights of the outside. Guests could also unwind by having a drink at table-height bar in the same premise. Moreover, the built-in storage with bronze doors designed to have a capacity of containing up to 200 bottles of wine would be an attraction especially for the wine lovers.

The owner’s cabin in Bacarella is designed to include natural flood lights that can be observed from four huge oval windows – a feature evident in the entire yacht. These also exhibit the soothing colors and textures. The bathroom of the owner is an indication of luxury including a unique spa like ambiance. The USP of the bathroom is the largest shower (for a yacht of this size) incorporated along with glass and slate around the tub. In addition to this, it also provides with the beautiful glimpses of the outside using a window which can be transformed into opaque one with the press of a button.

The crew aboard this yacht can be accommodated in seven cabins with one queen sized berth (which is also available in the owner’s room and five guest cabins) in the captain’s cabin. The guests can make themselves comfortable in the five king staterooms situated on the lower deck. The galley in Bacarella consists of an assortment of appliances such as a walk-in refrigerator and freezer, a two speed oven and microwave, an eight burner range, grill, two dishwashers and ice maker.

An elevator, designed using stitched rawhide, links all the three decks. The most interesting aspect of the elevator would be an attractive map of the world carved out of slate which is revealed when the doors open toward the bridge’s deck. Moreover, the super yacht’s performance moves up a higher level due to its double Caterpillar engines equipped with 2,012 horsepower which assist it in reaching a speed of 16 knots.
