Heesen Yachts have recently bagged two prestigious projects which takes them a few notches up on the popularity charts of the yacht market. The models being a 50m fully custom semi-displacement motor yacht and a 47m full displacement motor yacht are respectively the third and fourth contracts the company has signed since the beginning of this year. With this move, currently, the company has fourteen yachts in progress expected to be completed in 2013.

The first project – 50m motor yacht known as Y/N 16250 is believed to be an exclusive yacht designed for an owner who is skilled sailor. It is dedicated to those who hold high importance for the design and conception process of the new craft. This contract was signed in the same week as the second one after an association with brokerage firm YCO.

The profile of this 50m motor yacht features straight lines giving it a clean yet aggressive and muscular look. The exteriors of the yacht include a double-curved convex exterior glass, a convex curved freeboard and a smooth, unbroken outer shell.

The second project is a 47m full displacement motor yacht signed by the Monaco based firm. It belongs to the Heesen 47m long range displacement vessel family, which now is a group of seven ships. Two of the yachts in this group – M/Y Blind Date and M/Y Celestial Hope, have earned great acknowledgment during the 2010 World Superyacht Awards. This 47m motor yacht allows the owner to customize the yacht in every way possible. This includes structural modification to the superstructure to transform the design into a unique superyacht. These projects serve as evidence towards the Heesen’s powerful history and increasing commercial recognition.
