Inspired by Icon 72m, and with little variation in the design of Icon 62 meter,Van Geest Design has created a new design for Icon Yachts, based on the same structural and engineering platform. A combination of hull form and subtle two-tone coloring, the design has been given a unique styling, featuring Icon Yacht’s typical design style. The design, in specific traits, seems like an upgraded version derived from the same philosophy of Van Geest’s 55M explorer. However, more stress has been given to the colored styling strake in the designing process. Though simple in construction, styling strake provides a stylish play of lines and surfaces, giving yacht a distinctive and sleek outlook. The design also gives the hull an eye catching feature, which though conventional and traditional, stands out among others.

Moreover, as far as the general layout of the yacht is concerned, it features four guest cabins located on the lower deck with direct access to the wellness area, located near the transom/beach area. In order to produce more space the wellness area can be opened to the open transom in order to create a full beach entertainment area with more natural feel.
The main and upper deck, which consists of lounge-, entertainment- and dining areas, are all connected with a central staircase. At the tank deck level, the cinema adds to the entertainment quotient of the yacht. The main crew, officers’ quarters and services are spread out over tank, lower and main deck. The full width owner’s suite is located forward on main deck. The owner’s room features large windows and an internal staircase leading to the owner’s office on the bridge deck. Moreover, the upper deck layout is designed around the central luxurious and panoramic salon. The yacht also features special sun lounging and jacuzzi.

The tenders are stored at the tender bays located in the foredeck. The yacht also features a helicopter landing area on the foredeck.
