Moving up the ladder of progress is Vitters shipyard in Netherlands which has recently bought all shares in the yacht-builder Green Marine in Lymington, UK. Green Marine was formed in 1982 when Bill Green and Ian King had joined hands to conduct business.

Racing yachts like Ran and Jethou are names that represent and make Green Marine popular in the yachting fraternity. The company is not only dedicated towards developing advanced composite projects but has also built an extensive collection of award-winning Volvo Ocean and Americas Cup yachts such as Mascalzone and Prada. Some of its creations like Sojana, Ghost, Leopard and the latest Cinderella IV have earned great admiration for their performances too.

The employees at Green Marine are highly pleased and thrilled for the Vitters which they believe will be able to roll out similar successful yachts after becoming the new owner of the shipyard. The company is also aiming to provide its client with its exclusive services by extending their division of parts and components manufacturing and R&D amenities.

The Green Marine is already working towards completion of three yachts ranging between 60 and 140 ft. Though it has donned a new mantle, it will continue applying the same strategy where it will be committed towards making both racing yachts and hulls for high performance cruisers.
