Williams Performance Tenders, the world’s leading jet tender specialist and its UK distributor, Adlam Marine Limited (formerly Williams Sales and Service UK Limited), have signed up to attend two key events this summer with the new Williams tender, the 505D Turbojet.
Customers will be able to see and experience the new model at RIBEX on the Isle of Wight (7th – 9th May) and the Southampton Sports Boat and RIB Show (22nd -23rd May) in Ocean Village.
The Williams 505D Turbojet is the lightest and most compact fully-equipped diesel yacht tender available on the market, and is set to be a star attraction at both events. Designed to combine the smooth, safe ride of a RIB with the power and fun of a jet, the 505D is an ideal craft for waterskiing or coastal cruising away from a parent yacht. It is also a superb standalone sportsboat which is easy to trail and launch – perfect for day trips with family and friends.
Mathew Hornsby, joint managing director at Williams, said: “Since we launched the 505D we have had an excellent response from boat owners looking for a production tender that allows them to have a high level of individual customisation. This new model is a culmination of five years of specialist jet tender research and development and we are really looking forward to introducing more customers to the model at both of these events.”
Fitted with a 110hp Yanmar diesel engine, the 5.05m craft can reach an exhilarating speed of 35 knots and carry seven adult passengers. Hand-built to the highest standard, the ergonomic layout of the helm provides ample space for full-engine instrumentation, a chart plotter and VHF. Customers can also choose from up to 30 different tube colours for the tender.
