October 31, 2009 – The CEO of Boat International Media, Tony Harris, hosted the annual ShowBoats International Awards ceremony in Fort Lauderdale event with 350 guests.

Yacht Vive la Vie by Lürssen Yachts is pictured.

The Flagship Award was given post-humously to Kaye Pearson. He was honored for his lifetime achievement which made the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show the largest boat show in the world. With a heartfelt and emotional speech, Howard Haines presented the award to Kaye’s wife Cheri.

At the conclusion of the award ceremony, guests celebrated with the winners at the after party. Cocktails and champagne flowed freely and guests danced to the sounds of cover-band, Soul Survivor until the early-morning hours.
