Motor yacht SOKAR was once visited by Princess Diana and Dodi al-Fayed and there are famous photos that were taken of Diana sitting on the yacht’s passerrell boarding platform and swimming in the Mediterranean. There is also a ledged that one of the Princesses’ hairs was set in the varnish by mistake and has been kept safely in the same place ever since.
The term ‘Sokar’ refers to the Ancient Egyptian falcon god, which is reflected in the superyacht’s wing motif.
