Sessions to Start at 10:00 AM to Honor TSG’s “The American Superyacht” Forum

The YachtInfo Steering Committee—comprised of FYBA, ISS and USSA—today announces a complete roster of panelists and moderators for its 2011 YachtInfo Seminar Curriculum. To support The Superyacht Group’s newly announced “The American Superyacht: the Future,” YachtInfo will now begin at 10:00 am with seminars held until 4:00 pm; a Luncheon at noon; the Captains Briefing from 4:30 – 6:00 pm; and, Cocktail Reception from 6:00 – 7:00 pm.

The Luncheon and Cocktail Reception are again sponsored by Viking Crew Management and Royal Huisman respectively. All activities are being held at the Bahia Mar.

The full-day’s schedule is dedicated to the advancement of professionalism and encompasses content directed to all yachting professionals in all aspects of the marine industry, media and owners.

Professional development content tackles such issues as A Black Art? Defining & Achieving Success with a Superyacht Paint Job; PYA Announces its Interior Yacht Crew Certification; Outfitting & Commissioning a Yacht’s Interior; Gadgets, Gizmos, Bandwidth; Getting Down to Business; and, It’s YOUR Money & YOUR Future.

Regulatory & Security programs address The Manila Amendments to STCW and Shipboard Security in an Increasingly Dangerous World. During lunch, the U.S. Coast Guard shares the latest insight on entering U.S. waters.

The Captains Briefing, a perennial feature and favorite which is sponsored in 2011 by BWA and Griffin, deals with Foreign Flag Yachts Entering, Cruising & Chartering in U.S. Waters…What You Need to Know!”
